Victory Cathedral Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Pastor Larry Ford is a member of The Church of God in Christ (COGIC) . The international headquarters of the church is in Memphis,TN, under the leadership of the Presiding Bishop, Bishop G. E. Patterson. The international church is composed of jurisdictions, which are composed of districts, which are then composed of local individual churches. Victory Cathedral COGIC is in the Fellowship District, under the leadership of the District Superintendant, Norman O. Harper. The Fellowship District is in the Central Georgia Jurisdiction, with headquarters in Atlanta, Ga., under the leadership of the Jurisdictional Prelate and Former Presiding Bishop of the Churches of God in Christ, Bishop Chandler D. Owens.

MISSION STATEMENT

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Matthew 28:19-20
Teaching them means making disciples of them.

And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. Luke 4:43

We will touch our seniors through aiding and assisting them both spiritually and naturally through biblical teaching and fellowship

We commit to holy living, biblical teaching, training, equipping, and mentoring God's people to go into all the world and share the good news.

We will incease understanding and awareness of our commission through spirit-filled series of Bible studies, Sunday School, worship services, educational workshops and seminars in order to develop our people to spiritual maturity.

We will develop our financial base to be able to assist our pastors.



THE STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.

We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in Three Persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

   We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin, is through repentance, faith in the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water.

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
