About Our Church
Heaven Bound Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Pastor Leon Stanley is a member of The Church of God in Christ (COGIC) . The international headquaters of the church is in Memphis,TN, under the leadership of the Presiding Bishop, Bishop Gilbert Earl Patterson. The international church is composed of jurisdictions, which are composed of districts, which are then composed of local individual churches. Heaven Bound is in the Empowerment District, under the leadership of the District Superintendant Dallas Wilson. The Empowerment District is in the Central Georgia Jurisdiction, with headquaters in Atlanta, Ga., under the leadership of the Jurisdictional Prelate and Former Presiding Bishop of the Churches of God in Christ, Bishop Chandler D. Owens.
Directions to Our Church
From downtown Atlanta I-85 south to Riverdale Road (exit just past Hartsfield Airport) and turn left onto Riverdale Road. Go approximately 0.5 miles to second red light and turn right at West Fayetteville Road. Stay on West Fayettville through five redlights. Church is on your right at 7345 W. Fayetteville Road in Riverdale, Ga.
